Welcome to a special holiday edition of the One Man Revolution podcast! It’s Thanksgiving in the US, so the Canadian and the Comrade bring you a standalone episode of an ongoing segment, the OMR Book Club. We are reading A People’s History of the United States, by Howard Zinn, one chapter at a time. This week is chapter 2, and we’ll continue the discussion on this book in the regular feed going forward. Enjoy!
It’s 1,155 days until the legally defined end of the 47th presidency, but we have very little faith that will be the case. In the meantime, we have a new segment! The OMR Book Club will be discussing A People’s History of the United States by Howard Zinn chapter by chapter. We discuss chapter 1 this week, and we highly encourage you to read along and join the discussion going forward.
It’s 1,162 days until the legally defined end of the 47th presidency, but we have very little faith that will be the case. In the meantime, the Democrats shit the bed in epic fashion by capitulating to the GOP and passing a funding bill to reopen the government, despite the fact that the voting public seemed to actually put the blame for the govt shutdown on the GOP.
It’s 1,169 days until the legally defined end of the 47th presidency, but we have very little faith that will be the case. This week a bunch of local elections happened, and we basically have good news all the way around! Millenial phenom Zohran Mamdani crushed the NYC mayoral election, VA voted all Democratic candidates in the executive branch of the state, and the rest of the local elections all leaned Blue. Looks like Donnie’s ‘mandate of the people’ was just as fake as we knew it was.
